The Great Coffee Project reduces subscription cancellation by 63%

About The Great Coffee Project

The Great Coffee Project provides sustainably sourced coffee and pairs its products with its support of various non-profit organizations, striving for “impact with every sip.”

Opportunity

The Great Coffee Project currently donates 20% of its total proceeds to various causes, in addition to planting a tree in Madagascar with every purchase made in its online store. The Great Coffee Project required a fully customized donation process that worked with their online store’s subscription model.

Strategy

We helped incorporate donations into recurring Recharge subscriptions, implemented alongside their current add-on donations option on their checkout page. With both methods, customers can choose the cause they want to support.

Results

50% increase in customer retention
63% decrease in subscription cancellations
73% increase in repeat purchase
20% AOV increase
